For more than 20 years, I’ve been photographing some of the world’s most extraordinary landscapes and wildlife — and since 2005, I’ve been taking small groups of passionate photographers with me.
These aren't simply photography workshops.
They are carefully planned photographic experiences designed to put you in the right place, at the right moment, with the right light — and give you the opportunity to create photographs you’ll be genuinely proud to bring home.
I deliberately run a limited number of workshops each year, in a select number of locations.
Every destination is chosen because it offers something exceptional to photograph. Every itinerary is meticulously planned around the landscape, wildlife, weather, seasons, light and photographic opportunities.
The goal is simple:
To give you the best possible opportunity to make extraordinary photographs.
Our groups are intentionally small, allowing for a more personal experience, individual attention and the flexibility to respond when something special happens.
And because we take care of the logistics, accommodation, transport and photographic planning, you can concentrate on what you came for:
Photography.
The photographs matter.
But so does everything that happens around them.
The early mornings. The unexpected light. The extraordinary landscapes. The wildlife encounters. The conversations around the campfire. The people you meet and the experiences you share.
Many of our participants return year after year — in fact, around nine out of ten guests who attend a workshop with us go on to join another.
For me, that's the greatest measure of success.
Not simply that you leave with better photographs, but that you leave already thinking about where we're going next.
From Australia's remote landscapes and wildlife to some of the world's most remarkable photographic destinations, each workshop is designed around a particular photographic opportunity.
I don't try to photograph everywhere.
I choose the places I believe are worth taking you to.
Because we run a limited number of workshops and many fill quickly, new departures are released in stages.

Hi I’m Tom Putt and I’ve been teaching photography for 20 years.
When I started, I had NO IDEA how to take a good photograph. I was young and enthusiastic but I needed help to improve.
I made heaps of mistakes and really felt like giving up. Back then, photographic workshops didn't exist.
Thankfully, I had some good mentors who guided me to become the photographer I am today.
To help others and share my knowledge, I started my own workshops - to help people like yourself be better photographers and to help you fulfil your creative expression.
In these workshops, I'll teach you all the skills I’ve learnt in my 32 years as a photographer.
I truly cannot wait to share this knowledge with you.
