Day 1: Arrival and Preparation

Arrive in Reykjavik and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, meet for a welcome briefing covering drone regulations, safety guidelines, and an overview of the workshop itinerary. We’ll also conduct gear checks to ensure everything is ready for the adventure ahead. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner to get to know your fellow participants and guides.

Day 2: Aerial Exploration

Fly over the geothermal ridges of this geothermal region, capturing fumaroles and colorful rhyolite formations. Explore nearby valleys for unique aerial perspectives. Capture intricate patterns of glacial runoff and geothermal activity from above. Recharge at accommodations before an extended evening flight under the midnight sun.

Day 3: Braided River Systems

Fly over the intricate braided river systems near this remote highland area, capturing their mesmerizing patterns and dynamic flow. Observe how glacial meltwater creates ever-changing channels, shaping the landscape below. Recharge at accommodations while processing footage before heading out for another aerial session, capturing the subtle shifts in light over the flowing waters. Experiment with different altitudes and angles to showcase the vast waterways carving through the Highlands.

**Day 4: Aerial Highlights **

Start the day with early flights over a geothermal area, capturing its steaming hot springs and volcanic terrain. On the way to recharge, stop at a remote historic church, an isolated historic church, offering a striking contrast between man-made structures and the Highlands. After recharging, continue to a towering waterfall, flying over one of Iceland’s tallest waterfalls for dramatic aerial perspectives. End the day in a secluded oasis, a lush oasis of waterfalls and basalt rock formations, providing a vibrant contrast to the surrounding highland landscapes.

Day 5: Aerial Perspectives

Start the day capturing waterfalls plunging into a rugged canyon, where countless streams weave through moss-covered cliffs before cascading into turquoise waters below. The intricate patterns of erosion have shaped a surreal landscape, offering endless aerial compositions. After a morning session, return to accommodations to recharge and review footage. In the afternoon, continue to a crater lake with vivid blue waters and red volcanic soil, using the soft evening light to enhance aerial compositions.

Day 6: Waterfalls and Crater Landscapes

Drive through a remote highland valley, capturing vast volcanic plains and rugged terrain along the way. Stop at a waterfall tumbling over a lava field, offering striking aerial perspectives of cascading water against dark volcanic rock. After a morning session, return to accommodations to recharge and process footage. In the afternoon, continue to a crater landscape, where deep red earth meets vivid blue water, creating a stunning contrast for aerial photography. Make use of the golden evening light to enhance the depth and textures of this surreal environment.

Day 7: Aerial Highlights

Start with flights over vibrant blue crater lakes surrounded by colorful volcanic soil. Capture stunning reflections and unique terrain as you move through the area, focusing on dramatic aerial perspectives and the interplay of light and shadow. Explore different compositions throughout the day, making the most of the extended golden hours under the midnight sun.

Day 8: Southern Highland Highlights

Spend the day discovering a vast volcanic canyon, a vast volcanic canyon with dramatic cliffs and unique terrain, perfect for aerial photography. Capture the stunning geological formations and intricate textures as you fly through this expansive landscape. In the afternoon, continue to a unique volcanic cone, a strikingly green volcanic cone surrounded by the desolate beauty of the highlands. The vivid contrasts and the soft light of the midnight sun create ideal conditions for showcasing the vibrant colors and dramatic topography.

Day 9: Remote Highlands and South Coast

Begin with aerial flights over a unique highland peak surrounded by vibrant volcanic terrain, capturing striking contrasts and patterns. Continue to a secluded area of braided rivers on the south coast, where glacial streams carve intricate channels through black sands, creating stunning abstract compositions. Conclude the day’s journey by returning to Reykjavik.

Day 10: Return to Reykjavik and Departure

After breakfast, we journey back to Reykjavik, making a few last scenic stops for final drone flights. Enjoy a farewell lunch and a final image review session, where participants can share highlights from the workshop. The tour officially concludes in the afternoon, allowing time for departures or additional exploration in Reykjavik.
