Embark on a nine-day exploration with the Faroe Islands Photography Workshop, immersing yourself in the diverse landscapes of all 18 islands. By the end of this immersive journey, you'll find yourself feeling like a local, having uncovered the secrets and beauty that define each nook and cranny of this remote paradise.

Daily excursions will unveil the extraordinary landscapes that will soon become synonymous with the Faroe Islands—waterfalls gracefully plunging over sea cliffs, rugged sea stacks defiantly standing against the tumultuous seas, and charming churches nestled amidst evergreen fields. PLEASE NOTE:

1. THE WEATHER CAN BE HIGHLY VARIABLE IN JANUARY. We may get some moments of sunshine, we may get days of rain. We are going this time of year as the soft winter light can be incredible and we will have the islands to ourselves as it is the low season. Please be open to expecting that not all days may produce photo opportunities.

2. THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR GUESTS WITH A MODERATE LEVEL OF FITNESS. We will be walking to some locations for an hour each way. Snow may be deep in places for walking. A good level of fitness is required to participate. You will be required to carry your own photography equipment.

3. THERE IS A LOT OF DRIVING TO GET TO THE LOCATIONS. Because we are in the Faroes in the low season, many places are closed. We therefore base ourselves in Torshavn where we have the luxury of a very nice hotel with yummy breakfasts and dinners. We will sometimes be driving an hour to be on location in the morning, then another hour home at the end of the day.

As with all our workshops, you just need to get yourself to the nearest airport

and we will take care of the rest!
